T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "TPJ"), operator of Japan's largest mutual points service "T-POINT", will be launching a charity project to donate to the LPGA Junior Development Fund in conjunction with the start of the 2014 LPGA Japan Women's Professional Golf Tour in collaboration with professional golfer Ai Kido, with whom the company will enter into a sponsorship contract starting this season. In addition, starting March 4, 2014, we will be running a campaign called "T-POINT Ladies Golf Tournament: Enjoy the Live Internet Broadcast!", where you can win prizes such as a one-point golf lesson with professional golfer Ai Kido.
The "T-POINT Ladies Golf Tournament," sponsored by TPJ, will be the third tournament of the LPGA Japan Ladies Professional Golf Tour and will be held over three days from March 21st to 23rd, 2014, at Wakagi Golf Club (Takeo City) in Saga Prefecture. This year's tournament will once again be broadcast live over the internet, and as a prelude to the tournament, we will be holding the "T-POINT Ladies Golf Tournament 'Enjoy the Live Internet Broadcast!'"This campaign will offer great prizes for golf fans, including a "Tee Shot One-Point Lesson" with professional golfer Ai Kido, which will be given to 28 people selected by lottery, as well as premium golf goods (for 20 people) and 50 T-POINT on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, as the first joint charity project, TPJ and professional golfer Kido Ai will begin donating T-POINT to the LPGA Junior Development Fund. This charity project will donate 1,000 T-POINT (equivalent to 1,000 yen) to charity for every birdie that professional golfer Ai Kido scores on the LPGA Japan Ladies Professional Golf Tour, in which she is participating this year. Professional golfer Ai Kido and TPJ will each contribute 1,000 points for each birdie, and will donate a total of 2,000 T-POINT multiplied by the total number of birdies earned in the year to the LPGA Junior Development Fund through T-POINT donations. Both parties will support the success of junior golfers through this charity project.
