T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "TPJ") has partnered with Ryukyu Shimpo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture; CEO: Tomita Junichi; hereinafter referred to as "Ryukyu Shimpo") to begin offering a T Point service for subscriptions to the Ryukyu Shimpo from April 1, 2014.

Starting April 1, 2014, T-Card holders can apply through the Ryukyu Shimpo's dedicated website or fill out a dedicated application form and submit it to a retailer to earn 1 T-Point for every 100 yen spent on newspaper subscriptions from May 1 onwards. The accumulated T Points can be used at T Point Alliance stores such as TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, ENEOS, and Drug Eleven, with 1 point equaling 1 yen. In addition, customers who do not have a T Card can apply for a T Card at a Ryukyu Shimpo sales outlet or the sales planning department of a sales bureau.

Through the launch of this service, TPJ aims to improve customer satisfaction among Ryukyu Shimpo subscribers.

[Ryukyu Shimpo T-Point Service Overview]】
■Service start date: For applications made after April 1, 2014, points will be awarded from the month following the month of application.

■Applicable services: Subscriptions to the Ryukyu Shimpo, Shimpo Sponichi and Ryukyu Shimpo Online Newspaper
■T-point award rate: 1 point for every 100 yen (tax included)
・Main paper: 3,075 (tax included)/month → 30 points
・Shinpo Sponichi: 1,029 yen (tax included)/month → 10 points
・Digital newspaper: 3,075 yen (tax included)/month → 30 points
・Digital Newspaper W Plan: 3,375 yen (tax included) / month → 33 points
・Student discount: 1,980 yen (tax included)/month → 19 points
*T points cannot be used to pay subscription fees.
