--From April 10th to April 23rd, enjoy spicy "proverbs" and curry rice--

To commemorate the release of Nissin Curry Meshi Medium/Hot/Very Spicy and Nissin Tomato Curry Meshi, SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, located in front of Shibuya Station in Tokyo, and Nissin Food Products will be collaborating at TSUTAYA's flagship store, SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, from Thursday, April 10th to Wednesday, April 23rd to offer a spicy collaboration that will invigorate both body and mind as you start your new life in spring.

During the event, the entire SHIBUYA TSUTAYA store will be filled with spicy movie quotes selected by movie specialist staff. "Curry Meshi-kun" will offer some inspirational and courageous lines to young people starting a new life in the spring and to everyone taking a new step forward. On the fifth floor of the store, there will be a special corner showcasing the films in which these proverbs appear, and the sixth floor book section will also feature books full of spicy proverbs.

For those who feel that words alone are not enough to inspire them, samples of Nissin Curry Meshi, a new concept instant curry that allows you to enjoy curry rice simply by adding water and microwaving, will be distributed at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA stores for three days from April 10th to 12th, during the busy season of starting a new life.
SHIBUYA TSUTAYA will be promoting and proposing ways to live a new, edgy life this spring with spicy proverbs from movies and books and curry.

This new concept of curry rice, in which rice and roux are mixed together and ready to eat simply by adding water and popping it in the microwave, is riding on the trend in the curry market of smaller serving sizes and simplified cooking, and is beginning to take root as a new eating style among curry fans, especially young people.

"The third curry" that's neither roux nor instant curry
To establish a new genre that could be called the "third curry" that is neither a roux nor a retort, the product was produced entirely by leading Japanese art director Kashiwa Sato, and features a simple yet impactful name and packaging design that more clearly highlights the product's features: "It contains rice" and "A new style of curry that is easy to prepare and delicious."

The lineup consists of four authentic flavors
Nissin Curry Meshi comes in a lineup of three levels: "Medium Spicy," characterized by the savory flavor of beef and the aroma of spices; "Hot," accented with the spiciness of red chili peppers and black pepper; and "Very Spicy," which further enhances the spiciness of the spices. Compared to previous Nissin Cup Curry Rice products, the richness of the roux and the volume of the ingredients have been increased. In addition, a new menu item, "Tomato Curry Meshi," will be introduced, featuring the sourness of tomatoes and the flavor of spices.
