T-Point service starts at Takada Pharmacy from July 8th

- T-Point service now available at all Welcia Group drugstores -

Takada Pharmacy Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President and CEO: Takada Tomoko; hereinafter referred to as "Takada Pharmacy"), a member of the Welcia Holdings Group (hereinafter referred to as "Welcia Group"), and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have entered into a T Point Program agreement. The T Point service will be gradually launched at Takada Pharmacy's drug stores, mainly in Shizuoka and Aichi prefectures, from July 8, 2014, with the service being implemented in all stores by the end of August of the same year.

With the introduction of Takada Pharmacy, the introduction of the T Point service at all drug stores under the Welcia Group, based on the business partnership agreement*1 concluded on October 20, 2011, has been completed. T Cards can now be used at all 899 Welcia stores*2 in the Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu and Kinki regions, allowing customers to accumulate and use T Points.

In order to rapidly evolve and develop the Welcia Model, the company's business model, the Welcia Group will be integrating its drug companies from September 1, 2014. This initiative will serve as the foundation for customers who use Welcia Group drugstores to embody the "Welcia Model."The Welcia Group plans to take on new challenges using T-Point big data in order to create even greater customer value in the drug industry, where competition will intensify in the coming super-aging society environment.
T Point Japan provides Japan's largest shared points service, spanning both real-world and online transactions, with 48.78 million customers*3 using T Points every day across Japan. Going forward, we will continue to strive to provide services that will please each and every customer of a wide range of generations, with the brand concept of "Everyone's Points, T Points."

Welcia Group and T Point Japan will strive to provide even more satisfying services to customers of both companies and aim to propose richer lifestyles and healthier living.

*1 On October 20, 2011, Welcia Holdings Co., Ltd. (formerly Growell Holdings Co., Ltd.) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. signed a business partnership agreement for the T-Point Program.

■Service start date: July 8, 2014

*Pre-issuance of T Cards will be accepted from July 1, 2014.

■Applicable stores: All stores operated by Takada Pharmacy
■Applicable products: Products available at each store

* Excludes cigarettes, courier services, gift certificates, and some designated area garbage bags.

■T-point award rate: 1 point awarded for every 100 yen (excluding tax)
■T Point usage rate: 1 point can be used as 1 yen
■Points Service Day:
(1) Double points on Mondays
(2) On the 20th of every month, which is Customer Appreciation Day, you can earn 1.5 times the points when you use 200 points or more.

* 200 points can be used to purchase products worth 300 yen.
