In line with Fukuoka City's (Mayor: Takashima Soichiro) "Startup City Development" initiative, Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as CCC) Kyushu Company will operate a startup cafe that will serve as a base for creating a startup city, opening on October 11, 2014, on the third floor work style floor of "TSUTAYA BOOK STORE TENJIN."Prior to that, a preview was held on October 8th.

CCC has long been proposing new value to customers' lifestyles, and its track record of work on Daikanyama T-Site and Takeo City Library has been recognized. Kyushu Company has now been commissioned to operate the Startup Cafe, which will serve as a base for the founding city, in order to work with Fukuoka City to revitalize the region.

At the preview, Mayor Takashima spoke of his enthusiasm for Fukuoka as a whole to work together to create new businesses and jobs where people who want to start up businesses and people who want to support startups can easily gather and interact in order to broaden the scope of entrepreneurship (startups).
In addition, the attendees were introduced to the counter, which is open 365 days a year from 10:00 to 22:00, and to each concierge as a specialist who brings people together and connects them to start a business. Finally, the tour concluded with a great success, with visitors enjoying a cup of coffee in the cafe, which had an industrial interior that evoked the image of a manufacturing base that focuses on MADE IN FUKUOKA.

The "Startup Cafe" acts as a bridge between people and companies, friends and entrepreneurs, and provides one-stop support by providing the skills needed to start a business, hosting networking events with experts, and assigning concierges to help with new ideas and the necessary procedures.
Furthermore, we plan and hold seminars and events in collaboration with partner companies, and we also offer events that combine both real-world and online experiences that only CCC can offer. The company also announced that it has a number of upcoming events that will be useful for many people aiming to start their own businesses, including an information session and talk event for the "T-Venture Program," a new marketing support program for venture companies offered by group company T-MEDIA Holdings.
