We are pleased to announce that Tsutaya Bookstore Nagaoka Shinbo Branch, operated by Top Culture Co., Ltd. (listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, head office: Nishi-ku, Niigata City, President and CEO: Shimizu Hideo), has opened in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture on October 10, 2014, as a new store in the Tsutaya and Tsutaya Bookstore chains operated nationwide by Culture Convenience Club TSUTAYA Company Ltd.

The store will open after the Nagaoka Kawasaki store has been relocated and expanded. The floor area has been expanded to more than double its previous size, and in addition to expanding the product lineup that was previously available, a new games section has been added to meet the needs of a wide range of age groups. This 6,600m2 store combines the know-how cultivated in super-large stores with the essence of lifestyle-oriented bookstores that have been well-received at Daikanyama T-Site, creating a space where customers can discover unexpected books. Furthermore, we have adopted the "BOOK & CAFE" style, which combines a bookstore and a cafe, allowing customers to browse books in a relaxed atmosphere until they are satisfied, and we are proposing a new lifestyle to our customers.
