T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") and Kitamura Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Hamada Hiroyuki; hereinafter referred to as "Kitamura") will be introducing a new service, "Mobile T Card," which incorporates the functions of the T Card into smartphones and mobile phones, at 101 Kitamura Camera stores where electronic money can be used, from November 6, 2014.

"Mobile T Card" is a new service that revamps the "TSUTAYA Mobile Membership Card" currently available at some TSUTAYA stores into a standard service that can also be used at T Point partner stores, allowing smartphones and mobile phones to be used in place of T Cards.

At Kitamura Camera, customers who use the Mobile T Card can earn and use T Points just like with a T Card by holding their smartphone or mobile phone over the terminal when paying. With the introduction of the "Mobile T Card" service, Kitamura will be able to provide a service that allows customers to use their smartphone or mobile phone in place of a point card and wallet, and hopes to further improve customer convenience and value in the future.

In the future, T Point Japan will provide new functions and services to the T Card in order to create opportunities and needs for customers who do not have a T Card, and will strive to provide services that will be supported and satisfy a wide range of generations. We aim to create new value through the "T Card," a common ID that can be used by anyone, anywhere, anytime, for anything.

■How to register: Access the dedicated website for "Mobile T Card" and register your T Card number on the Kitamura Camera page to begin using the service.
