- The first T-Point service to be introduced at a duty-free shop in Japan! -

T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") and Hotel Lotte Co., Ltd. Lotte Duty Free (Head office: Seoul; CEO: Lee Hong-gi; hereinafter referred to as "Lotte Duty Free") will begin the T Point service at Lotte Duty Free Kansai International Airport, Lotte Duty Free's first store in Japan, from November 5, 2014.

T Point Japan and Lotte Duty Free have been providing the T Point service at four Lotte Duty Free stores in Korea, Guam, and Jakarta since July 18, 2014, but this time the service will be launched at Lotte Duty Free Kansai International Airport, the only store operated by Lotte Duty Free in Japan. This initiative marks the first introduction of the T-Point service at a duty-free shop in Japan.

Since its opening in September 2014, Lotte Duty Free Kansai International Airport has been frequented by many Japanese travelers before they depart for overseas destinations, and further increases in visitor numbers are expected as the winter holidays approach in December. Additionally, at the four Lotte Duty Free stores that have already launched the T Point service, the use of T Cards by Japanese tourists has steadily increased, making a significant contribution to attracting customers through T Points. The two companies plan to continue promoting awareness and usage of the T Point service at Lotte Duty Free Shops.

■Service start date: Wednesday, November 5, 2014 *Pre-release begins Saturday, November 1, 2014
■ T-points awarded: 1 point for every 200 yen paid in Japanese yen
■T Point usage: 1 point = 1 yen, and 10 points or more can be used in increments of 10 points
■Applicable services: All products sold at Lotte Duty Free Shop (45 brands)
