Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") will launch "Airbook" on December 1st, offering a new reading experience that is not limited to paper or electronic media.
"Airbook" is a service that allows you to purchase a book at participating TSUTAYA stores nationwide*1 by presenting your T-Card, and the digital version of the book you purchased will be automatically downloaded and available to enjoy for free. The digital version will be provided through the e-book site BookLive!, based on the strategic partnership agreement with BookLive Inc. announced on June 30, 2014.
The initial target will be 53 magazines from 20 companies, covering a wide range of genres, including "MEN'S NON-NO," "Seventeen," "Weekly Toyo Keizai," "Diamond ZAi," "Orange Page," "ROSSO," "CasaBRUTUS," "Weekly Soccer Digest," "Rurubu," and many others. Furthermore, we will continue to expand the range of magazines covered and consider expanding to include books other than magazines.
At the same time, BookLive! will launch "T Points," Japan's largest shared points service. When you purchase e-books on BookLive!, you can earn up to 3% T Points depending on your membership rank, and you can also earn T Points through various campaigns. The points you accumulate can be used at BookLive! as well as at T-Point partner stores nationwide, including TSUTAYA.
Through Airbook, BookLive and CCC will offer customers a new reading experience tailored to their lifestyles, such as reading a paper magazine at home and an electronic version on the go.
We will continue to plan and provide new services that connect the real world with the internet, and expand our services as a comprehensive book platform that will lead to the revitalization of the entire book industry.

■Service details
After presenting your T-Card at TSUTAYA and purchasing an Airbook eligible product, you will receive the e-book version free of charge (the e-book version is provided through BookLive!).
■ Airbook service settings when using for the first time
You will need to register and link your "Yahoo! JAPAN ID (T Card number registration)" and "BookLive! Membership."(From the second time onwards, if you present your T-Card and purchase the magazine, it will automatically appear on your bookshelf. )
