Tokyo Musen Cooperative (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Kawamura Yasutoshi; hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo Musen") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), operator of Japan's largest shared points service, "T Points," will begin offering a new service on December 9, 2014, for the smartphone app "Taxi Tokyo Musen" provided by Tokyo Musen, which will allow users to earn T Points when ordering a taxi via the app.
Tokyomusen began offering the radio taxi dispatch app "Taxi Tokyomusen" in April 2012, and the number of downloads has been steadily increasing. In anticipation of increased demand for taxis over the upcoming New Year's holiday season, we will be offering a T-Point service to the approximately 50 million T-Card users who use the "Taxi Tokyo Musen" app, with the aim of promoting awareness and usage of the app.
Customers who use a T Card can earn 5 T Points for each taxi dispatched via the "Taxi Tokyo Musen" app by completing the T Point redemption procedure on the app. Furthermore, if you have a T-Card with a credit function and use it to pay for your fare (JCB only), you will earn 2 T-Points for every 200 yen spent on the fare.
Tokyomusen and T Point Japan will continue to work to expand the use of the service that allows passengers to earn T Points by riding and ordering Tokyomusen Taxi.
Overview of "Taxi Tokyo Musen"
This app uses a map to allow you to easily call a taxi to your current location. We will search for and dispatch a vehicle from the approximately 4,000 taxis belonging to the Tokyo Wireless Cooperative Association that can pick you up at your specified location within approximately 10 minutes. All you need to do is a simple initial setup and you can start using it right away after downloading.

| How to order a taxi | (1) Please enter your customer information (mobile phone number and name in kana) under [Various Settings], and then confirm and agree to the terms of use. (2) From [Order a taxi], press the [Zoom in and specify location] button and align the [Call here] mark with the taxi pick-up location. (3) If you want to call one car, press the [One car immediately] button. If you want to specify various conditions, press the [Detailed order] button. (4) If you are happy with the order, please press the [Order] button. Start searching for a taxi near you. (5) Once the taxi arrangements have been made, we will inform you of the taxi's radio number and estimated arrival date and time. Your order is now complete. (6) Please check that your vehicle has arrived at the scheduled time. When you board the bus, the driver will ask you for your name, so please answer with the name you entered in [Various Settings]. |
