TSUTAYA Company, which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will be running a special website (http://tsutaya.jp/eigafan2014/We are pleased to announce the interim results of the "TSUTAYA Movie Fan Awards," for which voting is currently being accepted online.
The TSUTAYA Movie Fan Awards are selected by public vote from among the films released in Japan this year*, based on the Japanese and foreign films that movie fans find most moving and entertaining.
As of the interim count, the total number of votes is 11,490, and currently the top two films in the foreign film category are "Frozen" and "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno" and "The Legend Ends" in the Japanese film category.

■ Campaign period: November 11th, 2014 (Tuesday) at noon to December 24th, 2014 (Wednesday) at 11:59 PM
■How to vote:
　① Access the voting site from your PC, smartphone, or mobile phone
　② Works that you found particularly moving, interesting, or would like to praise
　　Vote for up to three films from each of the "Foreign Films" and "Japanese Films" categories. You can also vote for only one work.
　③Click the voting button
■ Eligibility: Anyone who has access to the voting site
■Voting categories: "Japanese Film Category" / "Foreign Film Category"
■ Eligible films: Films released in Japan for 14 days or more between January 1st and December 31st, 2014, with a paid theatrical release date

*The release dates of eligible films are from December 18, 2013 to December 17, 2014.
