Ryubo and T-Point Japan sign point program agreement

We are pleased to announce that three subsidiaries of Ryubo Holdings Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture; CEO: Itokazu Goichi), namely Ryubo Industry Co., Ltd., Ryubo Store Co., Ltd., and Ryubo Shoji Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Ryubo Group"), have signed a T-Point Program Agreement with T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan").

With this agreement, the Ryubo Group plans to launch a service that allows customers to earn and use T Points from mid-May 2015 at all Ryubo Group stores, including all 14 of its department stores, "Department Store Ryubo," and supermarkets, as well as the "Hapinaha" shopping complex.

T-Point partner companies in Okinawa Prefecture include 902 stores, including Ryukyu Bank, Ryukyu Shimpo, FamilyMart, TSUTAYA, ENEOS, and Drug Eleven, and 780,000 people, or 55.1% of Okinawa's residents, use T-Cards. Okinawa Prefecture also ranks second in Japan in terms of the number of stores per person relative to the population of each prefecture.

With the launch of the T Point service, the Ryubo Group will aim to encourage T members in Okinawa to use Ryubo Group stores, and will also use the T Point database for CRM (Customer Relationship Management), product development, and database marketing such as merchandising, including product lineups. Further details about the Ryubo Group's T-Point service will be provided as the service launch date approaches.

Through the T Card, Ryubo Group and T Point Japan will provide an environment where customers can enjoy everyday shopping with greater value and convenience than ever before.
