-A first for a consumer electronics retailer! Earn and use T-POINT when you purchase home appliances-

We are pleased to announce that EDION Corporation (Head office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Chairman and CEO: Masataka Kubo; hereinafter referred to as "EDION") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have entered into a points program agreement.

Starting April 20, 2015, EDION and T Point Japan will become the first electronics retailer to launch the T-POINT service at EDION stores across Japan.

EDION currently offers a unique points service to members who have an EDION Card or an Anshin Guarantee Card, based on the products they purchase. With the launch of the T-POINT service, customers will be able to choose to use either T-POINT or Edion Points at Edion stores. Additionally, we plan to issue T-CARD at Edion stores to those who do not have one.

EDION and T Point Japan will work together to expand the number of new EDION users through promotional activities aimed at the more than 50 million T Members, and to implement a CRM strategy that utilizes promotional tools such as the T-POINT database and POS coupons.

・Service launch date: Monday, April 20, 2015
Participating stores: 335 Edion directly managed electronics stores (excluding outlet stores)

*We will gradually expand the number of participating stores in the future.

・T-POINT awarded: 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
・T-POINT use: 1 point = 1 yen

*Some products and services are not eligible for T-POINT.

・T-CARD issuance: T-CARD will be issued at Edion stores starting Monday, April 20, 2015.
