T Point Japan launches T-POINT service in Hawaii

T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") has partnered with Hawaii advertising agency Summerside Up Entertainment (Head office: USA; President and CEO: Tatsuo Mori) to launch the T-POINT service in Hawaii, USA, on April 1, 2015.

Since last year, T Point Japan has been working to expand its T-POINT services outside of Japan, targeting Japanese people traveling abroad. The launch of T-POINT services in Hawaii, USA, marks the fifth overseas city to offer the service, following South Korea, Guam, Jakarta, and Bali. The T-POINT service in Hawaii will begin at 33 stores, including Honolulu Burger Company, a hamburger restaurant popular with Japanese tourists, the general store Eighty-Eighties, and Cube Cosmetics, a traditional Hawaiian lomilomi massage parlor, with the aim of expanding to 100 stores within six months.

T Point Japan will continue to work to expand T-POINT services in countries frequently visited by Japanese people so that T-POINT can be used in everyday life overseas.
