- A prepaid gift card that allows you to load T-MONEY onto your T-CARD -

T Money Co., Ltd.(Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO:Hideharu Natsume), which operates the electronic money "T-MONEY" that can be used by charging T-CARDs used by 53.04 million people across Japan*1, is now using InComm Japan Co., Ltd.'s POSA technology*2 to launch a new service, the "T-MONEY Gift Card," a POSA-type gift card that allows users to give "T-MONEY" as a gift. As the first step, T-MONEY Gift Cards will be sold at TSUTAYA stores nationwide from April 16, 2015.

The newly offered "T-MONEY Gift Card" is available in three denominations: 3,000 yen, 5,000 yen, and 10,000 yen. It is a POSA gift card that allows you to load "T-MONEY" onto your T-CARD anytime, anywhere by completing the loading procedure through the T-SITE [T-POINT/T-CARD] from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

If you have received a T-MONEY Gift Card from a family member or friend, you can charge T-MONEY to your T-CARD and use it to purchase or rent your favorite movies, music, books, and other entertainment at TSUTAYA, shop at Yutaka Pharmacy, or buy food, drinks, and souvenirs at Tokyo One Piece Tower.

T-MONEY plans to expand the number of stores that accept T-MONEY Gift Cards in the future, and will not only sell them in stores, but also offer them in various locations as new gifts and novelties.

■Card sales outlets: Approximately 1,200 TSUTAYA stores nationwide

■ Face value: 3,000 yen, 5,000 yen, 10,000 yen
■How to use: Log in to the T-SITE [T-POINT/T-CARD] using the Yahoo! JAPAN ID to which your T-CARD number is registered, and enter the PIN number (10 digits) printed on the back of your T-MONEY gift card on the input screen to complete the charge (deposit). The charged T-MONEY can be used immediately at T-MONEY affiliated stores.
■Validity period: 180 days from the date of purchase of the T-MONEY gift card

■Issuance fee: Free
■Charging method: Charge with cash at T-MONEY member stores, charge with T-MONEY gift card
Charge amount: Up to 30,000 yen in 1,000 yen increments
■ Usage amount: 1 yen to 30,000 yen
■ T-POINT: 1 T-POINT will be awarded for every 500 yen (tax included) spent on T-MONEY in a month.
■T-MONEY expiration date: 10 years from the last date of use of T-MONEY
T-MONEY participating stores: Drug Yutaka, TSUTAYA, Tokyo One Piece Tower (as of April 2015)
