Tobu Store and T Point Japan sign T Point Program Agreement and T Money Service Agreement

- "T Points" common points service to be introduced at all Tobu stores from late September 2015 -

Tobu Store Co., Ltd. (Head office: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Niwa Shigemi; hereinafter referred to as "Tobu Store") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") are pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement to introduce the T Point Program and T Money services.

As of the end of May 2015, T Point, a shared points service provided by T Point Japan, is used by 53.93 million people, with 124 partner companies and 392,867 stores, expanding to become an environment where it can be used in all aspects of daily life. In addition, the electronic money service "T Money," which was launched in November last year, has been well received by customers who use T Points as a service that allows "one T Card to earn T Points and make payments."

Following the signing of this agreement, Tobu Store will introduce the common points service "T Points" to all Tobu Stores from late September 2015, issue T Cards with original Tobu Store designs, and will become the first supermarket to introduce the electronic money service "T Money" from late November of the same year.

This means that with just one T Card, you can earn T Points when shopping at Tobu Stores, and you can use the accumulated T Points when shopping at Tobu Stores.If you charge your card as "T Money," you can also use it to pay for your purchases.

Tobu Store currently operates 59 stores in Tokyo, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures. With the introduction of the T Point Program and T Money service as a result of this agreement, the company will be able to attract new customers from a wide range of customers, regardless of gender or age, who already have T Cards. It will also aim to improve convenience for existing customers by providing a common points service that can be used across a variety of industries, and will also aim to optimize sales promotion measures through accurate customer analysis using the T Point Program.

Details of the T Point and T Money services at Tobu Stores will be announced at the start of each service.
