Megane Top and T Point Japan agree to business partnership and introduce "T Point"

We are pleased to announce that Megane Top Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President and CEO: Masahiro Tomizawa; hereinafter referred to as "Megane Top") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have agreed to a business partnership.

As a result, starting next spring, Megane Top will launch a common points service called "T Points" at all of its Megane Ichiba, ALOOK, Lens Direct, and Lens Style stores.

T Point, operated by T Point Japan, is Japan's largest shared points service, with 54.31 million members (active unique number*1) and 393,210 participating stores from 125 companies. T Point can be used in all aspects of daily life, including convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, clothing stores, electronics retailers, and online shopping.

At Megane Top, our corporate slogan is "Everything we do is for customer satisfaction," and we have grown into a leading company in the industry by providing our customers with high-quality products at low prices. We hope that the introduction of T Points will be an opportunity to further improve customer satisfaction and encourage T Card holders to use Megane Top's stores. Additionally, we plan to utilize the T-Point database to respond to the increasingly diverse needs of customers for glasses and contact lenses, and to develop products that suit customers' lifestyles.

Details of the T Point service will be announced at a later date.

Through this business partnership, Megane Top and T Point Japan aim to create new customer value by providing new opportunities for customers to discover eyewear, which can also be considered a fashion item.

*1 As of the end of June 2015, this is the number of active and unique members who have used T Points in the past year and have multiple T Cards, counting them as one person.
