We are pleased to announce that we have established Furusato Smartphone Co., Ltd. (Furusuma for short) (CEO: Keisuke Hiwatashi) today with the aim of revitalizing hometowns (regions) through the use of smartphones, including supporting the elderly and promoting health.

Addressing regional issues such as the rapid aging of society, the increase in elderly people living alone, and rising medical costs is an urgent task. Furusuma aims to solve these problems by leveraging the planning capabilities of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda, hereinafter referred to as CCC), technology centered on the smartphone "TONE" provided by group companies, and collaboration with T-Point, Japan's largest shared points service used by 54.31 million people, and will also promote businesses that will lead to regional revitalization and regional development.

In order to make these projects more realistic, we will work with the Local Government Smartphone Liaison Council, which is made up of volunteer local governments from all over the country, to share various local issues and plan and implement demonstration experiments. Based on the knowledge gained from these efforts, we plan to plan and promote projects that will bring happiness to people living in rural areas in particular.
