Oya Co., Ltd.'s Drugstore Mac (headquarters: Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture; CEO: Shintaro Ito; hereinafter referred to as "Drugstore Mac") and T Money Corporation (headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Eiji Natsume; hereinafter referred to as "T Money") are pleased to announce that they will be launching the electronic money service "T Money" at all Drugstore Mac stores from August 20, 2015.

"T Money" is a prepaid electronic money service that adds electronic money functionality to the T Card. There are no special procedures required to use T Money; you can simply load cash onto your current T Card, and the loaded T Money can be used at T Money affiliated stores.

Aiming to be the drugstore with the highest customer value in Japan

Drugstore Mac aims to be more than just a retailer of goods; it also aims to be a lifestyle suggester. Drugstore Mac's goal is to be a store that makes daily necessities more affordable and offers value propositions tailored to each individual customer for lifestyle-improving products. Furthermore, to further enhance our service functions, we aim to increase the value of our service by allowing customers of Drugstore Mac to use "T Money."

Going forward, T Money will gradually expand its membership through T Point partners and other means, aiming to provide highly convenient services to the 54.31 million T Card holders*.

*As of the end of June 2015, the number of active and unique members who have used T Points in the past year and have multiple T Cards is counted as one person.
