- The first in the home improvement industry to sign a "T Point" contract -

Joyful Honda Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President and CEO: Kenichiro Yagasaki; hereinafter referred to as "Joyful Honda") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have signed a points program agreement, the first of its kind in the home improvement store industry, and will launch the T Point service at Joyful Honda stores from next spring.

Since its founding in 1975, Joyful Honda has operated home improvement centers primarily in northern Kanto (one prefecture and five prefectures) with the belief that it will continue to contribute to the local community and local customers through its business. The store boasts a wide selection of over 400,000 items and is a mega-store with an area larger than three Tokyo Domes, attracting over 50 million customers annually.

In response to the recent rapid diversification of lifestyles, Joyful Honda has positioned "realizing database marketing" as an important element and has decided to introduce the T-Point service.
Specifically, we are actively considering utilizing T Card's big data in a variety of areas, including not only sales promotion but also product development, sales floor creation to improve our proposal capabilities, and future store development. In addition, based on the T Card recommendation system, we aim to promote shopping in large stores and implement a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategy to further improve customer satisfaction.

In the Tokyo metropolitan area and five prefectures where Joyfull Honda operates stores, there are 19.2 million T-Card holders, and by introducing the T-Point service, which is used by one in two residents of these areas, Joyfull Honda will also aim to promote new users of its stores.

Joyful Honda and T-Point Japan will continue to actively work to create services that will please our customers. We will provide further details about the T-Point service at Joyful Honda as soon as they are decided.
