TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will launch a campaign to commemorate the release of the Nintendo 3DS™ game software "Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King."　
Starting Thursday, August 27th, the "TSUTAYA de DS" service for the Nintendo DSR series will be distributing gift codes for the Falcon Claws (which can be equipped by Molly), an item that can be used in the Nintendo 3DS software "Dragon Quest VIII."
Additionally, starting Tuesday, September 1st, we will be releasing the Tenka Taihei [Fan] (which can be equipped by Gerda).
Furthermore, during this period, starting from the day after you receive the Tenka Taihei [Fan], you will be able to receive one random item per day that will be useful in your adventure, such as a "Gold Nugget" or "Skill Seed."

■How to participate:
To participate, simply bring your Nintendo 3DS system to a participating TSUTAYA store and access the "Dragon Quest VIII" campaign page within the "DS at TSUTAYA" reception area.

Take on the "Monster Battle Road Challenge!" and get a gift code for the Falcon Claws (equipable by Molly)!

■ Implementation period:August 27, 2015 (Thursday) 10:00 - October 31, 2015 (Saturday)
*The offer will end once all gift codes are sold out.

■How to get the gift code:
If you win the battle in the DS mini-game "Challenge the Monster Battle Road!" at TSUTAYA, you will receive a gift code that will allow you to obtain the Falcon Claw, a weapon that can be equipped by Molly in the game.

■How to enter the gift code you received
1. While connected to the Internet, select "Plans" in the game and then select "Gift Delivery."

②Select "Enter gift code."

③Enter the gift code.

④ You can obtain Falcon Claws.

Receive the Peaceful Fan (equipable to Gerda)!

■ Implementation period: September 1, 2015 (Tuesday) 10:00 to October 31, 2015 (Saturday)

■How to receive the Peaceful Fan (equipable to Gerda):
1. While connected to the Nintendo Zone at TSUTAYA, select "Plan" in the game.

②Select "Streaming Gift."

③Select "Download gift."

④ You can obtain the Peace in the World [Fan].

Furthermore, during this period, starting from the day after you receive the Tenka Taihei [Fan], you will be able to receive one random item per day that will be useful in your adventure, such as a "Gold Nugget" or "Skill Seed."
