(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki) are collaborating to improve customer convenience and services, allowing customers to earn T Points at great value in a variety of situations. Starting October 9, 2015, SoftBank mobile phone users*1 will receive triple the T Points*3 when they use the family restaurant "Gusto"*2 or the entertainment store "TSUTAYA," which rents and sells books, DVDs, CDs, and more. As a result, in addition to FamilyMart convenience stores, which have also been offering triple T-Points since August 4, 2015*4, customers will be able to earn T-Points at great value at over 14,000 stores across Japan.

SoftBank

Customers using SoftBank mobile phones can earn three times the usual number of T Points by presenting their T Card (T Card number must be pre-registered at a SoftBank retailer or on My SoftBank) at the time of payment at FamilyMart, Gusto, or TSUTAYA*5. Additionally, if you pay with a SoftBank Card (issued by SoftBank Payment Service Corp.), you will earn four times the T Points you would normally receive, and if you sign up for the optional "Omakase Charge" service with the same card, you will earn five times the T Points*5.

Since the launch of the T Point service in 2003, the number of stores where you can use it has increased through partnerships with leading companies in various industries. Currently, the number of members is 54.77 million, the number of affiliated companies is 125, and the number of affiliated stores is 430,000, making it one of the largest shared points systems in Japan*6. SoftBank, Skylark, TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, and T-Point Japan will continue to collaborate on new initiatives to provide Japan's most valuable shared points service, which can be used to get great deals at various points of contact in daily life around the city.

*1 Eligible contract lines include iPhone, SoftBank smartphones, and SoftBank 3G mobile phones.
*2 Steak Gusto, S Gusto, and delivery services are not included.
*3 If you have used a TSUTAYA store for 3 days or more in the previous month, you will receive 1x the regular points and 1x the bonus points. If you have used a TSUTAYA store for 5 days or more in the previous month, you will receive 2x the regular points and 1x the bonus points. The service can be used at the same time as this measure.
*4 If your cumulative purchase amount at FamilyMart stores in the previous month is 5,000 yen or more, you will receive 1 point in addition to the regular 1 point (shopping point). In addition, if you spend 15,000 yen or more, you will receive 2 points in addition to the usual 1 point (shopping point). Please note that the triple T-Points offer only applies to shopping points.
*5 For a 200 yen purchase, you can earn three times (3 points), four times (4 points), or five times (5 points) the usual number of T Points.
*6 Number of members, total number of T Cards issued, number of partner companies, and number of partner stores are as of the end of July 2015. The number of members is the number of unique members who are active members who have used T Cards in the past year, and who have multiple cards are counted as one person.
