"HiTAP(R)" is an electronic stamp service provided by M-Field Co., Ltd. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akira Yoda; hereinafter referred to as MF) that allows users to stamp directly onto their smartphones using a dedicated device called "Ocelly(R)*1."While retaining the analogue stamping action, the addition of digitally-only screen effects and functions gives users a richer experience than was possible with traditional paper and ink stamps. "HiTAP(R)" is available as a website, so it can be used with just the browser that comes standard with your smartphone. Furthermore, it can be easily incorporated into existing apps using only WebView (*2).

*1) A block-shaped device that uses electrostatic multi-touch technology. The contact pattern of the block body recognizes simultaneous contact in multiple places on the screen. "Ocelly(R)" has 20 different contact patterns (ID). The recognition engine running on the server identifies the ID touched on the display, allowing the device to perform an action according to the ID. This technology, "Digishot(R)," was researched and developed (patent pending) by Koto Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, CEO: Kazuhiro Kubota), a company that brings a wide variety of home entertainment products, from analog to digital, to the world. MF has obtained a license to use the SDK and to develop the business in the B2B market.
