Platform One Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Norihide Akiba; hereinafter referred to as "Platform One") and CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC Marketing"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), have partnered to provide an advertising distribution service using category data estimated from actual purchasing behavior held by CCC and CCC Marketing on "MarketOneR," a demand-side platform (hereinafter referred to as "DSP") provided by Platform One. Platform One plans to begin offering this advertising distribution service in early November. }
Through this partnership, CCC and CCC Marketing will be able to create "interest categories" and "demographic categories" based on gender and age, estimated from the purchasing behavior of their physical stores, and use these categories for advertising delivery through MarketOne®. This will make it possible to generate categories and deliver advertisements that were previously not possible using web behavior data alone.
Another feature of MarketOne® is that it allows for CPC (pay per click) delivery, which means that ads can be delivered while guaranteeing a cost per click for targeting estimated from actual purchasing behavior.
Furthermore, when it comes to ad placements using data from CCC and CCC Marketing, just like the regular "MarketOne®," advertisers can select the domains to be displayed using either the whitelist method (*1) or blacklist method (*2), which also helps prevent damage to the advertiser's brand.
Through this partnership, Platform One Co., Ltd. will continue to provide multifaceted support for digital promotion and strive to improve the value of the services it provides to advertisers and advertising agencies.
(※1) The whitelist method is a method in which you specify which of the many "MarketOne®" pages are allowed to display ads, and ads are delivered only to the specified pages.
(※2) The blacklist method is a control method that prevents advertisements from being distributed by specifying the pages on which advertisements are not permitted to be displayed among the many pages on MarketOne®.
