Asahiya Shoten to Launch T-POINT Service on October 20

Asahiya Shoten Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Shigeru Hayashima; hereinafter referred to as "Asahiya Bookstore") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will gradually launch the T-POINT service at Asahiya Bookstore locations from October 20, 2015.

With the launch of this service, customers with a T-CARD will be able to earn 1 T-POINT for every 200 yen (excluding tax) they spend at Asahiya Bookstore, and can use the accumulated T-POINT for shopping at Asahiya Bookstore, with 1 point being worth 1 yen.

The outline of the T-POINT service at Asahiya Bookstore is as follows.

・Service launch date: Tuesday, October 20, 2015
・Participating stores: "Asahiya Bookstore" (excluding some stores)

* For information on participating stores, please visit T-SITE [T-POINT/T-CARD] (http://tsite.jp/).
* We plan to gradually roll out the service to other stores as well.

・T-POINT award rate: 1 point awarded for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
・T-POINT usage rate: 1 point can be used as 1 yen
・T-POINT service eligible products: Products sold at "Asahiya Bookstore"
