Asahiya Bookstore to launch T-Point service from October 20th

Asahi Bookstore Co., Ltd. / T-Point Japan Co., Ltd.

Asahi Shoten Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Shigeru Hayashima; hereinafter referred to as "Asahiya Shoten") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will gradually launch the T Point service at Asahi Shoten bookstores from October 20, 2015.

With the launch of this service, customers with a T Card will be able to earn 1 T Point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) they spend at Asahi Bookstore, and can use the accumulated T Points for shopping at Asahi Bookstore, with 1 point being worth 1 yen.

The outline of the T Point service at Asahi Bookstore is as follows.

・Service launch date: Tuesday, October 20, 2015
・Participating stores: "Asahiya Bookstore" (excluding some stores)

* Participating stores are T Site [T Points/T Card] (http://tsite.jp/) for more information.
*We plan to gradually roll out the service to other stores as well.

・T-point award rate: 1 point awarded for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
・T Point usage rate: 1 point can be used as 1 yen
・T Point service eligible products: Products sold at "Asahiya Bookstore"
