Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC") is pleased to announce that the number of T-Point members in the Kyushu and Okinawa area has now surpassed 50% of Kyushu and Okinawa residents, an increase of 980,000 from the same month last year to 7.27 million, or 50.4% of the population.

As of the end of September 2015, the total number of members who have used T Points in the past year and who have multiple T Cards is counted as one person, totaling 55.56 million across Japan, accounting for 43.6% of the Japanese population. Of these, Fukuoka Prefecture has 2.48 million people (48.8% of the population), Saga Prefecture has 410,000 people (49.1% of the population), Nagasaki Prefecture has 680,000 people (49.6% of the population), Kumamoto Prefecture has 900,000 people (50.6% of the population), Oita Prefecture has 480,000 people (40.8% of the population), Miyazaki Prefecture has 500,000 people (45.3% of the population), Kagoshima Prefecture has 980,000 people (59.3% of the population), and Okinawa Prefecture has 830,000 people (58.8% of the population).

The increase in the number of T Members in the Kyushu and Okinawa area is due to the expansion of T Point partnerships with companies that operate stores only in the Kyushu and Okinawa areas, such as Drug Eleven (drug store), Red Cabbage (supermarket), Place & Daiwa (supermarket), Ryukyu Bank, and Ryubo Store (supermarket), as well as the holding of the LPGA-sanctioned tour "T Point Ladies Golf Tournament" in Kagoshima and Saga since 2010. In addition, the increase in issuance of "Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks x T Cards", which are issued only in the region and at Fukuoka Yahoo! Auctions Dome and TSUTAYA stores in the Kyushu area (excluding Okinawa) since July 24th this year, has made T Points accepted as a familiar points service for people living in Kyushu and Okinawa.

As a result, awareness of the "T Points" common points service, which can be accumulated and used at many stores, has spread, and it is now used daily by people of all ages, with one in two people in the Kyushu and Okinawa areas now owning a T Card.

CCC will continue to provide services that will be supported and satisfied by a wide range of generations by adding new functions and services to the T Card in order to create opportunities and needs for customers who do not have a T Card. We aim to create new value through the "T Card," a common ID that can be used by anyone, anywhere, anytime, for anything.
