TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. has expanded its TSUTAYA Yokohama Minatomirai store, which has an attached kids' cafe where parents and children can enjoy themselves in the Yokohama area, to 202 seats, making it the largest BOOK & CAFE in Yokohama, and has extensively renovated the first floor. BOOK & CAFE, where you can relax surrounded by greenery, reopened on Friday, November 6th as a "book encounter" floor, where you can find miscellaneous goods that add a touch of elegance to your everyday life and browse bookshelves arranged by lifestyle genre.

The newly renovated TSUTAYA Yokohama Minatomirai store is even more comfortable and pursues the value of a space that offers discoveries and encounters. The cafe space has been expanded to seat 202 people and is open from 7am. The natural light streaming in through the atrium windows and the lush greenery create a relaxing atmosphere. The main street of the book space is lined with 23 locations selling miscellaneous goods designed to create a slightly more luxurious lifestyle than everyday life. This leads to bookshelves categorized by lifestyle genre. The bookshelves are divided by genre, creating a new type of bookstore that stimulates intellectual curiosity and allows you to discover new books by dividing them into six lifestyle categories. In addition, there will be two permanent event spaces on the first and second floors, providing the opportunity to meet writers and voice actors live and enjoy interacting with them, creating a space that can only be found in a physical store.

In conjunction with the renovation of the first floor, the CD and DVD area on the second floor will feature recommendations from discerning staff and an opportunity to discover works that "fit your tastes" by utilizing the database of over 55 million T members. In addition, the store has a stock of 60,000 comic books, including new, used, and rental items, so you can choose the one that suits your lifestyle.
