Urawa Tsutaya Bookstore, operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as CCC), opened today inside the Atre Urawa store at JR Urawa Station (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture).

Directly connected to the Atre North Exit ticket gates of JR Urawa Station, which has a passenger load of 170,000, the new BOOK & CAFÉ is based on the concept of a "park under the elevated railway" and offers a comfortable space and highly convenient services as a lifestyle-oriented store.

Urawa Tsutaya Bookstore: 9 Features

1) The first Tsutaya bookstore directly connected to the station ticket gate, with a floor space of 750 square meters.
Directly connected to the north exit ticket gate of JR Urawa Station, the store seamlessly connects books, stationery, miscellaneous goods, and a cafe, providing a comfortable space and time that feels like home.

2) This is the fifth flagship store of Tsutaya Bookstore, following stores in Daikanyama, Hakodate, Shonan, and Umeda.
3) We have dedicated concierges in four genres: travel, food, work, and art. We will guide you through a world of approximately 60,000 books.
4) There is a stationery and miscellaneous goods corner where a concierge will guide you through carefully selected stationery.
5) As a store directly connected to the station, it will offer highly convenient services by incorporating a Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation ATM, Mr. Minute (shoe repair, shoe shine, key duplication), Family Mart, and more.
6) The opening hours are from 7:00am to 12:15am (open all year round), making it convenient for station users.
7) We expect a maximum of 30,000 customers to visit the store each day.
8) Self-checkout is available, so customers who are worried about their train times won't have to wait.
9) At Starbucks' cafe seats, you can freely read books and magazines before purchasing them.
