- Commemorating the release of "Minions" on Blu-ray and DVD -

TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will begin issuing "T Cards (Minions Design)" from December 24, 2015, featuring the latest film in the Despicable Me series, "Minions," which was released on July 31, 2015, and has been a huge hit, grossing over 5 billion yen at the box office in Japan (as of September 23, 2015).

The "T Card (Minions Design)" features Kevin, Stuart, and Bob from the Minions movie, which was released in the summer of 2015 and will be available for purchase/rental on Blu-ray and DVD from December 2nd (Wednesday). In addition, T members who have a "T Card (Minions design)" can apply for benefits using the T points accumulated on their "T Card (Minions design)."
Additionally, TSUTAYA stores will begin selling and renting the Minions Blu-ray and DVD from December 2, 2015.

・Application period at TSUTAYA stores nationwide: Thursday, December 24, 2015 to Saturday, April 30, 2016
*The stores that accept cards are listed on the official "T Card (Minions Design)" website.
*Issues will end as soon as stock runs out.
*Some stores are accepting pre-issuance orders starting today.
  ・TSUTAYA Online Shopping acceptance period: December 1, 2015 (Tuesday) to November 30, 2016 (Wednesday)
　　　*If you apply by Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015, your card will arrive after Thursday, December 24th.
・Card issuance fee: 500 yen (excluding tax)
*TSUTAYA rental registration fees may be charged separately.

■ Original benefits for T members who have a "T Card (Minions design)"
・Service benefit period: Thursday, December 24, 2015
Customers who have a T Card (Minions design) can earn T Points by presenting their T Card at T Point partner stores, and then enter the campaign using the required number of T Points on the special website to be entered into a lottery to win Minions merchandise.
