Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has conducted a "Survey on Hot Springs" using the "T Survey," an online opinion survey, targeting 1,504 T members, both male and female, aged 18 to 69, who use T Cards.

●The popularity of "hot spring boys" is on the rise! Men in their teens and twenties visit hot springs 4.05 times a year!
 On the other hand, women in their teens and twenties are the ones who go to hot springs the least, going just 2.37 times a year. The average is 3.45 times per year. Japanese people love hot springs! 80% of people love hot springs!

●Do you like to relax in a hot spring? Or do you not like to soak?
 The average is 23 minutes per session. Those who take the most leisurely baths are men in their teens and twenties, spending 26.6 minutes per bath.  The people who took the least time to soak were women in their 50s and 60s, at 19.2 minutes.

●Which celebrity would you like to go on a hot spring trip with?
 The top female celebrity chosen by men is "Ishihara Satomi," while the top male celebrity chosen by women is "Fukushi Sota."

Next, 1,192 hot spring lovers were asked to select multiple answers to the question, "Which hot spring would you like to visit?" The top answer was "Yufuin" in Oita Prefecture (49.7%), followed by "Beppu" in Oita Prefecture (43.0%), "Kusatsu" in Gunma Prefecture (40.1%), "Hakone-Yumoto" in Kanagawa Prefecture (36.1%), and "Noboribetsu" in Hokkaido (35.2%), resulting in a wide range of choices from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Furthermore, Yufuin was ranked number one across all age groups, proving to be an overwhelmingly popular hot spring.

Next, 106 "hot spring connoisseurs" who visit hot springs at least once a month were asked which hot spring was their favorite. The top choice was Beppu in Oita Prefecture (12.7%), followed by Kusatsu in Gunma Prefecture (8.8%) and Hakone-Yumoto in Kanagawa Prefecture (8.8%), and in fourth place were Arima in Hyogo Prefecture (7.8%) and Yufuin in Oita Prefecture (8.8%). Other hot springs in the top 10 include "Naruko" in Miyagi Prefecture (3.9%) and "Kurokawa" in Kumamoto Prefecture (3.9%), which did not rank among the hot springs people would like to visit.

People enjoy hot springs in different ways, with some people soaking leisurely and others just getting in and out quickly. When asked how long people usually soak in a hot spring each time, the overall average was 23 minutes. When broken down by gender and age, the people who soaked in the hot springs the longest were men in their teens and twenties, at 26.6 minutes, while the people who left the hot springs the quickest were women in their fifties and sixties, at 19.2 minutes. The results show that younger generations in particular tend to soak in hot springs for longer periods of time.

Finally, everyone was asked to give their own answer as to which celebrity they would like to go on a hot spring trip with. The top female celebrity chosen by men was "Ishihara Satomi," and the top male celebrity chosen by women was "Fukushi Sota."On the other hand, the top male celebrity chosen by men was "Abe Hiroshi," and the top female celebrity chosen by women was "Ayase Haruka."
