-Held at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club from March 18th to March 20th, 2016-

T-Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TPJ") and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCC") will be holding the "T-Point Ladies Golf Tournament," a women's professional golf tour sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan (LPGA), for three days from Friday, March 18th to Sunday, March 20th, 2016, at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club (Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture), the venue for the first tournament, in Kagoshima Prefecture.

The tournament will be based on the themes of "live" and "local connection," and aims to provide many people with the opportunity to experience the wonderful emotion that is the essence of sport - its ability to move people's hearts - and to propose a new lifestyle through sports.

The internet broadcast of the last tournament was viewed more than 1.4 million times from 85 countries around the world, and for the next tournament we will be further upgrading it, allowing viewers to participate in the internet broadcast, delivering the excitement and thrill that only a live event can provide.We will also be taking on the challenge of broadcasting the event live on terrestrial and satellite television. In addition, as part of the "Local Connection" program, we are planning to hold golf lessons for juniors in Kagoshima who are aspiring to become professional golfers, as well as hosting hospitality events for players and spectators from the local people of Kagoshima.

Following on from last year, the "T Ticket" will be introduced, which will allow you to use your T Card as an admission ticket, and tickets with the tournament's official golf ball and T Money (※) will be available for purchase in limited quantities from December 18th on the official website (http://t-pointladies.jp/Pre-sales will begin at

Golf will be reinstated as an official event at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics next year for the first time in 112 years, and 2016 is expected to be a year in which interest in golf will increase. This tournament, the third on the LPGA Tour, will be held at T-Point partner stores across Japan, such as FamilyMart and TSUTAYA, as well as on the Internet, with the aim of helping to popularize golf as a familiar sport for people of all ages.

- Competition method: 54 holes, stroke play
(1) The qualifying round will consist of a total of 36 holes on the first and second days, and the top 50 players will be eligible to compete in the final round.
(2) If a tie occurs for first place after 54 holes, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held at a hole designated by the tournament committee on that day to determine the winner.
