T-MEDIA Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nakanishi Kazuo; hereinafter, "the Company"), which oversees the online business of the Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "CCC") Group, is pleased to announce the launch of the "TSUTAYA TV INDEPENDENT FILM PROGRAM (hereinafter, "TIP"), which accepts submissions of original, non-commercially available video works (including independently produced films) and distributes them on the video distribution service "TSUTAYA TV."

■TIP Overview
You can submit original works that have not been commercially released. Furthermore, there are no restrictions on whether the work is live-action or animated, whether professional or amateur, or on the applicant's age, gender, nationality, or educational background. Any work that is over one minute long can be submitted.

■Notes (Please refer to the TIP application page for details)
*We will not accept proposals for works that have already been published or used commercially, or that are scheduled to be published or used commercially in the future, or works for which the rights are held by a third party (including corporations). (Theatrical release, television broadcast, video/DVD release, online distribution, overseas distribution, etc.)
*We will not accept works that promote or slander a particular religion or ideology, or that violate public order and morals. Please note that you cannot apply for works that do not have permission to use the music, which requires payment of copyright royalties. (JASRAC, eLicense, JRC, etc.)
*If you use music from a third party that is not registered with a copyright management organization, be sure to obtain permission from the music owner.

TIP allows video creators who don't have the means to reach their customers to deliver their original video works to people across the country on TSUTAYA TV with just a few simple steps. Original video works viewed on TSUTAYA TV will be returned to the video creators as royalties.

Driven by its desire to support all filmmakers, the CCC Group aims to develop and revitalize Japanese cinema by discovering new talent through TIP to support the future of the film industry and delivering new films to film fans through various services, including TSUTAYA TV.
