T Point Japan Co., Ltd.
T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a business partnership with Saibu Gas Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President and CEO: Toshio Sakami; hereinafter referred to as "Saibu Gas") regarding the introduction of the T Point service.
Following the conclusion of this contract, customers who sign up for the electricity rate plans "Plus Electricity Plan 1" or "Plus Electricity Plan 2" offered by Saibu Gas and complete the required registration procedures on the new member-only website "Saibu Gas My Page" to be opened on Saibu Gas's homepage will be able to earn 1 T Point for every 200 yen (tax included) paid, starting with their electricity bill for April 2016.
As part of our early application campaign, if you apply for "Plus Denki Plan 1" or "Plus Denki Plan 2" between February 1, 2016 and May 31, 2016, you will receive 500 T Points after the contract is finalized. You can also earn T points by using the "Gas Appliance Repair Preferential Service."
T Points earned through services provided by Saibu Gas can be used at T Point partner stores such as FamilyMart, TSUTAYA, Gusto, Drug Eleven, and Red Cabbage, with 1 point equaling 1 yen.
In Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Kumamoto prefectures, where Saibu Gas operates, the proportion of customers using T Cards is high, with approximately one in two customers using the card. We hope that this partnership with Saibu Gas will make this service even more convenient for customers living in the target area.
T Point Japan will continue to expand the T Card as a lifestyle platform into services that are closely linked to daily life infrastructure such as electricity, aiming to provide services that are supported and satisfying across a wide range of generations.
