(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), which operates Japan's largest shared points service, "T Points," and CCC's consolidated subsidiary Tone Mobile Corporation (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroki Ishida; hereinafter referred to as "Tone Mobile") have begun accepting applications for and issuing the "T Card Plus (issued by TONE x TSUTAYA)," a T card with credit functionality, exclusively for customers who purchase smartphone devices (hereinafter referred to as "smartphones") for the "TONE" smartphone service provided by Tone Mobile.

　"TONE" aims to "provide the safest and most secure smartphone service in the world," and provides a wide range of family-friendly services, including support services that are safe even for beginners, monitoring functions that make it safe for family members and children to use the phone, and app management functions, to provide a service that "provides peace of mind for everyone."By combining with the diverse cultural infrastructure of the CCC Group, the product offers an unprecedentedly comfortable and enriched mobile lifestyle. Sales began at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA on May 5, 2015, and by January 20, 2016, sales had expanded to 14 TSUTAYA stores nationwide.

　The newly launched "T Card Plus (issued by TONE x TSUTAYA)" will be available for purchase from February 1, 2016 at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, Futako Tamagawa TSUTAYA Electrics, and Daikanyama TSUTAYA Bookstore, and customers will be able to apply in-store when purchasing a "TONE."This card can be applied for with virtually no annual fee, can be issued immediately upon purchasing TONE, and can be used as a payment card for TONE on the spot. In addition, if you pay the price of your "TONE" device in installments (12 or 24 months) with this card at the time of signing the contract, you will receive the benefit of waived installment fees*. Furthermore, if you pay for your smartphone device and monthly fees with the "T Card Plus (issued by TONE x TSUTAYA)", you will earn double "T Points" from the T Card usage and the credit card usage, making it a convenient and economical card that allows you to accumulate points just by having it.

*The benefit regarding installment fees is only available to customers who purchase TONE at the time of card contract.

1. Earn "T Points"
For the device price and monthly fee of the "TONE" smartphone, you will earn 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent with your T Card, and 1 point for every 200 yen (including tax) spent with your credit card.
Additionally, simply present your card when using it at TSUTAYA or other T-Point partner stores to earn 1 point for every 100 to 200 yen spent, and if you pay with your card at Aplus member stores or JCB member stores other than partner stores, you will earn 1 point for every 200 yen (tax included).

2. Immediate issuance possible upon signing a TONE contract
Once you sign the contract (※1), you will be issued a credit card number on the spot (※2) and can purchase TONE right away.
*1 The maximum number of devices that can be purchased at the same time is five.
*2 It may take some time to review your application for card issuance.

3. Annual fee is essentially free
　The annual fee is free for the first year. Since you only need to pay the card fee once a year and the following year will also be free, by paying the monthly fee for your "TONE" smartphone with the card, the annual fee will essentially be free.


Applications will begin on February 1, 2016 at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, Futako Tamagawa TSUTAYA Electrics, and Daikanyama TSUTAYA Bookstore, and will be rolled out to other TSUTAYA stores that carry TONE.
