-A first for a regional bank in the Kanto region-

The Joyo Bank, Ltd. (Head office: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President and CEO: Kazuyoshi Terakado; hereinafter referred to as "Joyo Bank") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") are pleased to announce that they have entered into a business partnership for point services. This partnership is the first of its kind among regional banks in the Kanto region.

Joyo Bank, which celebrated its 80th anniversary on July 30, 2015, is exploring the possibilities of utilizing its comprehensive financial service functions to solve local issues, and is promoting projects that contribute to the creation of valuable businesses and co-create the future together with customers and the local community.
　T Points, operated by T Point Japan, is Japan's largest common points service, and is used by 57.07 million people (active uniques), or 40% of the Japanese population, and can be used in all aspects of daily life, including convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, clothing stores, electronics retailers, mobile phones, online shopping, and electricity, at over 450,000 stores from 131 companies.

Through this partnership, Joyo Bank and T Point Japan will introduce the T Point service for financial products handled by Joyo Bank this spring. We will also utilize the extensive database that T Point Japan possesses to enhance our marketing efforts.

Ibaraki Prefecture has the highest T-Card membership rate in Japan, with 60% of the prefecture's residents holding T-Cards. The two companies aim to expand Joyo Bank's use of T-Cards among customers in Ibaraki Prefecture and provide services that will provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
