Town Plaza Kanehide to start T-Point service from April 1st

Kanehide Shoji Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishihara-cho, Okinawa Prefecture; CEO: Ken Nakachi; hereinafter referred to as "Kanehide Shoji") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") entered into a partnership agreement in December 2015 and will begin the T Point service at Town Plaza Kanehide, a food supermarket operated by Kanehide Shoji, from April 1, 2016.

With the launch of the T-Point service, the Smile Card service, which has been available since 2005, will be discontinued on February 29, 2016. Points that customers have accumulated so far will be redeemed at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen when shopping at Town Plaza Kanehide from Tuesday, March 1st to Thursday, March 31st, 2016. In addition, we will be running a thank you campaign in which we will distribute coupons for triple T-points as a token of our appreciation for your patronage when you pay.

The details of the T-Point service at Town Plaza Kanehide and the Smile Card Customer Appreciation Campaign are as follows:

・Service launch date: Friday, April 1, 2016
・Participating stores: All 60 stores of "Town Plaza Kanehide"
・T-point award rate: 1 point awarded for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
・T Point usage rate: 1 point = 1 yen.
・Point eligible products: Products sold at "Town Plaza Kanehide"

*Some products are not eligible.

- Original T-Card: Starting March 1, 2016, we will begin pre-issuing original design T-Cards at Town Plaza Kanehide stores.

・Period: March 1st (Tue) to March 31st (Thu), 2016
・Participating stores: "Town Plaza Kanehide" - all 59 stores

* "Sunplaza Prefectural Office Store" is not included

- Details: Those who settle their Smile Card between March 1st and March 31st, 2016 will receive a triple T-Point coupon that can be used at all Town Plaza Kanehide stores from April.

*You can settle your current Smile Points balance in full when making a purchase between March 1st (Tuesday) and March 31st (Thursday), 2016.
*The coupon can only be used once for purchases of 1,000 yen or more (excluding tax).
