T Point Japan Co., Ltd.
Hoping for the speedy recovery of the lives of those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, T-Point Japan Co., Ltd. launched the Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster Relief Project in 2011 to support "children's smiles" and "community spaces."
This project received cooperation and support from many people, including T members from all over Japan, T Point Alliance companies, architects, those involved in architecture and design, and local residents. In 2011, we built the "Children's Center for All" in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and in 2012 in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. In 2013, we built the "Children's Home for All" in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, and in 2015, we built the "Soma Children's Home for All" in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, creating spaces where children can play and also supporting the local community. We are currently building Minamisoma Everyone's Playground, an indoor park with a sand play theme, in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture.
Today marks five years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. In order to support Tohoku, which is still in need of support, we will use the T-Point network that spans Japan to pool the strength of each individual and expand the circle of support even further. We will continue to carry out the "Show your T-Card to bring smiles to the children of Tohoku" project by adding new initiatives that will allow children to learn things they didn't know and gain something that will help them in the future, and to experience such learning and fun.
Present your T-Card when shopping in your daily life and you will naturally be helping support the reconstruction of Tohoku. We will continue to work to ensure that the use of T Cards contributes to the Tohoku Support Project.
We want T Points to be a point that connects people and people to society.
