The Tagajo City Library, which opened in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture (Mayor: Kikuchi Kenjiro) on March 21, 2016, saw over 11,000 visitors on its opening day. The new Tagajo City Library aims to be the leading cultural exchange hub in the Tohoku region, and is open every day from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.
