Joyo Bank to launch T-Point service from April 1st

Following the recent business partnership agreement, Joyo Bank, Ltd. (Head office: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President and CEO: Kazuyoshi Terakado; hereinafter referred to as "Joyo Bank") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will begin offering T Point services for transactions at Joyo Bank from April 1, 2016.

T Points, operated by T Point Japan, is Japan's largest common points service, and is used by 57.43 million people (active uniques), or 40% of the Japanese population, and can be used in all aspects of daily life, including convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, clothing stores, electronics retailers, mobile phones, online shopping, and electricity, at over 490,000 stores from 134 companies.

Ibaraki Prefecture has the highest T-Card ownership rate in Japan, with 60% of the prefecture's residents using it. The launch of the T-Point service at Joyo Bank is the first of its kind among regional banks in the Kanto region. Customers living in the prefecture will be able to use the T Points they have earned through transactions at Joyo Bank at T Point partner stores within Ibaraki Prefecture, allowing them to enjoy a more convenient point service than ever before.

 ・Accumulation investment trust...5 points per 5,000 yen withdrawal amount
 ・Foreign currency deposits...5 points per 5,000 yen withdrawal
 ・Car loan...50 points per 100,000 yen
 ・Education loan...50 points per 100,000 yen (maximum amount)
 ・Free loan...50 points per 100,000 yen
 ・Free Palette...50 points per 100,000 yen spent
 ・Bridal loan...50 points per 100,000 yen
 ・Nursing care loan...50 points per 100,000 yen
