TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), a member of the Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCC") group that operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "C&E"), which operates entertainment businesses such as the planning and production of video, publishing, and music, are pleased to announce that they have held the second "TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM FILM 2016" (hereinafter referred to as "TCP"), which discovers creators who create a variety of entertainment content and provides comprehensive support from production to rental, sales, and distribution, and that they have begun accepting proposal submissions from today.

About the TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM
The first TCP was held in 2015 with the aim of discovering and nurturing creators. It called for "high-quality film proposals = seeds of masterpieces (proposals that can be made into films)" and selected three works, one Grand Prix and two Runner-up, from a total of 474 submissions at the final judging panel. For the first three winning works, the CCC Group is providing financial and production support to complete the works, with completion scheduled for late 2016 or early 2017.
As with the previous competition, the second competition will be open to anyone, regardless of their professional or amateur status, age, gender, nationality, or educational background, as long as the project is for a full-length live-action film of 60 minutes or more. A final judging panel will select one Grand Prize winner and two Runner-up Prize winners from the submitted works, for a total of three works, and each work will receive a production budget and production team of over 50 million yen. The completed work will be available for rental and streaming at TSUTAYA stores nationwide, as well as on TSUTAYA DISCAS and TSUTAYA TV.
TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM FILM 2016 Event Overview
Application period: April 20th (Wednesday) – June 13th (Monday), 2016
Recruitment details: Recruitment of work plans that can be made into live-action films (feature-length films)
Eligibility: Professional or amateur, no restrictions on age, gender or nationality
Number of winning works: 1 Grand Prix and 2 Runner-ups
The CCC Group will provide support for the production costs and production structure required to complete the film.
As a bonus, up to 500,000 T-Points and one year of free TSUTAYA DISCAS will be awarded.
Production budget: 50 million yen per film x 3 films
