Joyful Honda Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President and CEO: Kenichiro Yagasaki; hereinafter referred to as "Joyful Honda") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have entered into a business partnership in August 2015, and will begin gradually rolling out the T-POINT service at Joyful Honda home improvement stores operated by Joyful Honda from June 29, 2016. The T-POINT service at Joyful Honda is the first common point service to be introduced in the home improvement store industry.
With the launch of the T-POINT service, customers with a T-CARD can earn 1 T-POINT for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent when shopping at Joyfull Honda. These points can be used for shopping at Joyfull Honda and other affiliated stores, with 1 point being worth 1 yen. Prior to the launch of the T-POINT service, original design T-CARDs will be issued at Joyful Honda stores to customers who do not currently have a T-CARD.
In response to the recent rapid diversification of lifestyles, Joyful Honda has positioned "realizing database marketing" as an important element and has decided to introduce the T-POINT service. With an average floor area of approximately 106,000 square meters per store, Joyful Honda has established itself as a "giant home improvement center" with some of the largest stores in the home improvement industry. In these unique stores, we are actively considering utilizing T-CARD's big data in a variety of areas, including not only sales promotion but also product development and sales floor planning to improve our proposal capabilities, as well as future store development. In addition, we aim to promote shopping within large stores and implement a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategy to further improve customer satisfaction.
In addition, in Ibaraki Prefecture, where Joyfull Honda has four stores, more than 60% of the prefecture's residents have T-CARDs, and by introducing the T-POINT service, Joyfull Honda will also aim to promote new usage.
The details of the T-POINT service at Joyful Honda are as follows:

■Service start date: Wednesday, June 29, 2016, starting at Joyfull Honda Newport Hitachinaka store
*The T-POINT service will be implemented at all stores by early September 2016.
*Pre-issuance of T-CARDs will begin at the Newport Hitachinaka store on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
■ Participating stores: "Joyful Honda" All 15 stores
■T-POINT award rate: 1 point awarded for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
■T-POINT usage rate: 1 point can be used as 1 yen
■T-POINT service eligible products: Products sold at home centers, pet centers, and garden centers
*Some areas and products within the above sales areas are not eligible for T-POINT.
