TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will begin issuing the "NGT48 x T-CARD" featuring NGT48, the fifth domestic sister group of the AKB48 Group, from Friday, July 15, 2016, to commemorate the 8th AKB48 General Election being held in Niigata. (※1: Issuance at physical stores is only available in Niigata Prefecture. ) Furthermore, as part of an effort to promote artists active in Niigata from Niigata, NGT48 will collaborate with Niigata-area TSUTAYA to launch the "Niigata TSUTAYA Summer Excitement Campaign" in stores, also starting on Friday, July 15th.

The "NGT48 x T-CARD" is a T-CARD with designs of all 25 original full-time members of NGT48 on the card face. In addition, as a special offer exclusive to T members who hold an "NGT48 x T-CARD," we are offering a special benefit of being invited to the NGT48 Theater using the T-POINT accumulated on the "NGT48 x T-CARD." Furthermore, at the 8th AKB48 General Election venue on Saturday, June 18th, we will be accepting advance applications to get your hands on the "NGT48 x T-CARD" early.

TSUTAYA stores in the Niigata area will be running a campaign in collaboration with NGT48 called the "Summer Excitement Campaign." If you spend 1,000 yen or more at a TSUTAYA store in the Niigata area during the application period, you will be entered into a lottery to win a signed NGT48 x T-CARD in-store poster or theater invitation. In addition, those who present their NGT48 x T-CARD and spend 1,000 yen or more at a TSUTAYA store in the Niigata area will be given an original NGT48 bookmark on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, ahead of the campaign, we will be selling a "Niigata Limited Package" of NGT48's first packaged work, "NGT48 TeamNIII 1st "The Party is Starting" NGT48 Theater Grand Opening Opening Performance" DVD & Blu-ray, in order to promote NGT48 together with the people of the Niigata area.
