"We have carefully selected 100 recommended titles that we hope many customers, both adults and children, will see this summer, from the latest releases of foreign, Japanese, and animated films to classic classics.
The 100 titles include works that depict the importance of family and friends, works that depict people working hard towards their dreams despite being on the verge of giving up, and works that depict great adventures that can only be experienced in the movies. We recommend works that will not only move children, but also serve as an opportunity for parents to remember what is important.
We hope that this will be an opportunity for parents and children to enjoy movies together, looking back at past films such as "Finding Nemo," whose sequel is currently a huge hit in theaters, the "Ghostbusters" series, the latest installment of which will be released in August, and the "Harry Potter" series, the newest installment of which will be released in November, and to look back at the early series, which will be nostalgic for parents and fresh for children, and to talk about the highlights of the series together. "

It was named by American photographer Bruce Osborn. He came to Japan in 1980 and began his full-scale activities in Japan. He is famous for his life's work, the "Parent and Child" series. In 2003, together with his wife and producer Yoshiko Inoue, he proposed that the fourth Sunday of July be designated as "Parent-Child Day." The following year, the "Parent-Child Day Promotion Committee" was established, and various activities have been carried out. We propose a day to reaffirm the basic parent-child relationship, which is equally given to all people and can exist for all.
