SoftBank Payment Service Corp. / T Point Japan Co., Ltd.
- Japan's largest common points service, "T-POINT," can be earned and used on e-commerce sites -
SoftBank Payment Services Corp. (hereinafter "SBPS") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "T Point Japan") have entered into a business partnership and will begin offering the "T-POINT Program (Online Payment)," the first online payment service in the payment agency industry to be linked to the T-POINT Program, from July 26, 2016.
By using the "T-POINT Program (online payment)," e-commerce businesses can introduce "T-POINT," Japan's largest shared points service, to their own websites. By promoting the convenience of being able to accumulate and use "T-POINT" to users of your e-commerce site, you can expect to attract repeat customers and increase sales.
Features of the "T-POINT Program (Online Payment)"
●Earn "T-POINT"!
E-commerce businesses can offer their customers "T-POINT," a common points service that is also used by major chains. The number of points awarded to customers can be chosen to be 1 point per 100 yen (tax included) or 200 yen (tax included), depending on the needs of the e-commerce business operator.
●You can use "T-POINT"!
Customers can use their accumulated T-POINT at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen when making purchases on e-commerce operators' websites. Being able to pay with points lowers the barrier to entry for first-time purchases.
●Attraction effect
By introducing Japan's largest shared points service, used by 59.25 million people (as of the end of June 2016), which is more than 40% of the Japanese population, we can help increase awareness and usage of e-commerce businesses' sites.
