--TSUTAYA Granduo Kamata store opens on Friday, August 5th. Also running a campaign to upgrade to the "TONE m15," which is fully compatible with "Pokémon GO"!--

TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuo Nakanishi; hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA") and TONE Mobile Corporation (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroki Ishida; hereinafter referred to as "TONE Mobile") aim to expand TONE, a smartphone service provided by TONE Mobile, to 200 TSUTAYA stores nationwide by March 2017.

With the opening of the TSUTAYA Granduo Kamata store on Friday, August 5th, TONE is now available at the 30th store nationwide. Additionally, we plan to open 12 more stores in September, and will continue to expand our store network to reach 200 stores.

This summer, Tone Mobile is running a "Summer Parent-Child Discount" campaign (until August 31st) where if you sign up for multiple devices under the same name at the same time, you will receive a discount of 3,000 yen on the contract administration fee and 3,000 yen off the basic plan monthly fee for three months. The highly popular "Parent-Child Discount" that was implemented from February to May this year and was applied for by more than 40% of our policyholders is back for a limited time only during the summer. It is popular with families of all ages, from children to grandparents.

We are also currently running a campaign to upgrade to the "TONE m15," which is fully compatible with the popular game app "Pokemon GO." The TONE m15 is TONE's latest device, supporting the AR function essential for enjoying "Pokemon GO." For a limited time until September 30th, if you change your model, you will receive 6 months of the basic plan for free (6,000 yen per month). This has been well received by customers who use older models as an opportunity to switch to the latest model.

TONE will continue to provide our customers with the message, "Reliable quality for everyone." We will continue to improve our services and expand our store network so that we can deliver this "customer experience."

It is a smartphone service that aims to be "Not only do we offer a reasonable price starting from 1,000 yen per month with unlimited data usage on the Docomo line (LTE)*1, but we also offer a wide range of services that even smartphone novices can feel safe using, such as features that allow parents to manage their children's app downloads, control usage time, and monitor their location*2, a function that automatically repairs device problems simply by placing the device in a box, and a service that remotely controls the device from a call center for support.
