TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), which operates 1,478 TSUTAYA stores nationwide, is pleased to announce that it has decided to hold a CD debut support event for the seven-member idol group "Tokyo CuteCute," who are regular cast members on "Cinderella Academy," which airs from 1:40 am on Tokyo Metropolitan Television Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo / hereinafter referred to as "TOKYO MX"), at TSUTAYA stores in Tokyo from Thursday, August 11th.

TSUTAYA has launched a project in which "Tokyo CuteCute" can make their CD debut if they sell out 7,000 CDs and limited edition photos by hand on "Cinderella Academy," an idol training simulation program in which aspiring stars aiming to make their CD debut and become top entertainers face the harsh challenges of training camp life. Taking this opportunity, TSUTAYA aims to provide an experience where TSUTAYA customers can meet and support "Tokyo CuteCute" who are about to take flight as idols, directly.

As "idols you can meet at TSUTAYA," "Tokyo CuteCute" will be holding mini-live concerts and handshake events at TSUTAYA stores in the Kanto region and surrounding areas starting from August 11th. In addition, we will be holding regular events every Wednesday from August to September at TSUTAYA Sangenjaya store from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. *Only Wednesday, August 10th will be rescheduled to Thursday, August 11th from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Going forward, TSUTAYA will continue to strive to provide a music experience that connects artists and fans through its stores and online services, allowing them to communicate and empathize with each other. We will also unearth the many talents hidden in each region of the country, and discover, nurture and support artists through this project and the "TSUTAYA ARTIST CONFERENCE" etc.

Tokyo CuteCute is an idol group that was launched in August 2015 and is made up of members from three Good Choice Entertainment units: WenDee, BABY☆STAR, and Amore Carina. The choreography is by PaniCrew's YOHEY, who is also the producer, and the music features contributions from famous composers such as Ide Koji and Naohisa Taniguchi, so the group is currently working with the support of top creators.
