Kanehide Shoji Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishihara-cho, Okinawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Nakaji Ken; hereinafter referred to as "Kanehide Shoji") and T Money Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hashimoto Koichi; hereinafter referred to as "T-MONEY") will be the first food supermarket in Okinawa to start accepting electronic money, "T-MONEY," at all "Town Plaza Kanehide" stores from September 8, 2016.

"T-MONEY" is a prepaid electronic money service that adds electronic money functionality to the T-CARD. No special procedures are required, and you can simply charge cash onto your existing T-CARD. The charged T-MONEY can be used at T-MONEY affiliated stores in Okinawa Prefecture, including Town Plaza Kanehide. This is a great service that allows you to earn double points, both shopping points and payment points, with just one T-CARD.

Kanehide Shoji and T-MONEY will continue to strive to provide services that satisfy and gain the support of T-CARD customers.

■ Participating stores: 60 Town Plaza Kanehide stores (as of the end of June 2016)

■ How to charge: Charge with cash at T-MONEY member stores
■ Charge amount: In 1,000 yen increments up to a maximum balance of 30,000 yen
■Available amount: 1 yen to 30,000 yen
■Points awarded: 1 T-POINT will be awarded for every 500 yen (tax included) spent on T-MONEY per month

■T-MONEY expiration date: 10 years from the last date of T-MONEY use
■T-MONEY affiliated stores in the prefecture: FamilyMart, TSUTAYA, Drug Eleven
