In addition, by taking advantage of our strengths as a group company of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., we offer plans to help people enjoy movies even more, such as promotions in the "Before Going to the Movie Theater" corners at TSUTAYA stores when movies are released in theaters, and services linked to related products when packaged movies are released.
This work is currently viewed by over 3.5 million people every week on "comico," and has been ranked number one as a flagship work since the site's inception. The comics published by Earth Star Entertainment, a group company of CE, have sold over 1.4 million copies in total (volumes 1-6), and according to TSUTAYA's comic sales survey, they are the top-selling online comic book series.
This work quickly gained popularity among people in their teens and twenties through manga and novel services, and with its wide-ranging developments including comics, anime broadcasts, and stage plays, its popularity in the comics is expanding beyond just men and women in their teens and twenties to a wider demographic. Regarding the decision to adapt the novel into a film, the author, Yayoisou, and director, Ken Furusawa, have made the following comments:
■ Comment from Yayoiso, the creator of "ReLIFE"
I was very surprised when I heard that "ReLIFE" was going to be made into a movie.
To all the fans who regularly support "ReLIFE",
Thank you so much to everyone involved who worked hard to make this happen!
We hope that everyone will enjoy this "another ReLIFE" that is different from the original work, anime, and stage play.
thank you.
■ Comment from Ken Furusawa, director of the film "ReLIFE"
Acting in a play or making a film is a very strange experience.
No matter how many times I experience it, I can't describe it.
When I read the original "ReLIFE," I felt a certain affinity with that dreamlike experience.
At the same time, I also experienced a different kind of tingling sensation.
It has a fantastic setting called "ReLife" and
I think it's because it combines the brilliance and pain of adolescence that everyone experiences.
The movie version of "ReLIFE" offers a fantastical experience that can only be found in the darkness of a movie theater.
The daily lives of young people currently living their high school life
And the memories of adults who were once high school students,
I would like to pursue a more shining reality.
