Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / CEO:Kazuo Nakanishi / hereinafter referred to as CE), which operates entertainment businesses such as planning and producing videos, publishing, and music, will begin accepting pre-orders for the talking body composition monitor "Gintama Inner Scan Voice BC-202-GIN," a collaboration with the TV anime "Gintama," at TSUTAYA bookstores nationwide (*1), TSUTAYA online shopping, and Edion stores (*2) starting today, Tuesday, October 11th.

"Gintama" began publication in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in 2004, and is a long-selling series with 65 volumes published to date (as of October 2016). Although it is a sci-fi period drama, it is a human comedy manga filled with gags and action, and it has been decided that it will be made into a live-action movie starring Oguri Shun in 2017. Furthermore, the work continues to be a hot topic, with a new TV anime series being announced.

This latest product, the "Gintama Inner Scan Voice BC-202-GIN," is a premium body composition monitor created in collaboration with the series. It features newly recorded voice acting from voice actors who have appeared in many hit works, including Sugita Tomokazu (who plays Sakata Gintoki), Nakai Kazuya (who plays Hijikata Toshiro), and Suzumura Kenichi (who plays Okita Sougo), to assist users with setting up the device and read out measurement values and their evaluations.
