TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), a CCC Group company that operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CE"), which operates entertainment businesses such as the planning and production of video, publishing, and music, have announced the final judges and eight finalist films for the "TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM FILM 2016" (hereinafter referred to as "TCP"), which discovers creators who create a variety of entertainment content and provides comprehensive support from production to rental, sales, and distribution.

The final judges will be director Isshin Inudou, who has won numerous awards for his co-direction of "The Floating Castle," and producer Yuichiro Saito, who has produced hit animations together with director Mamoru Hosoda.
Both of them will participate in the final judging session with a professional perspective, and with high hopes for new talent.

■Judge: Director Isshin Inudo Profile
Born June 24, 1960. Born in Tokyo. While working as a commercial director, he also directed films such as "The Life of a Goldfish" (1993) and "Two People Talking."' (1995) received positive reviews, and he made his theatrical feature film debut with 'The Blonde Grassland' (1999). He has directed films such as "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" (2003), "Maison de Himiko" (2005), "Mount Bizan" (2007), "Zero Focus" (2009), and "Goo Goo is a Cat Too" (2008). "Nobunaga's Castle" (2012), which he co-directed with Higuchi Shinji, was a huge hit, grossing over 2.8 billion yen at the box office and winning numerous film awards. In recent years, he has also worked on television dramas such as the "Serial Drama W: Goo Goo is a Cat" series and "Serial Drama W: Gives Dreams."

■Judge Yuichiro Saito, Film Producer Profile
Born November 5, 1976. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. Producer/CEO of the animation film production company Studio Chizu. After studying in the United States, he joined Madhouse in 1999. He studied under producer Masao Maruyama and participated in many animation projects, co-productions with overseas partners, and collaborative works with live-action films. He served as producer on Mamoru Hosoda's films The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) and Summer Wars (2009). After leaving the company in 2011, he founded Studio Chizu with Mamoru Hosoda. Since then, he has devoted himself to producing films directed by Mamoru Hosoda, planning and producing Wolf Children (2012) and The Boy and the Beast (2015).

A contest in which the Grand Prix winner will be given the right to participate in the TCP final judging session.
